  • Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless network technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with wireless LAN controllers.
  • Experience in engineering, designing, developing, installing, configuring, testing, and implementing Aruba and Cisco wireless network solutions.
  • Experience capturing and analyzing technical requirements, documenting detailed system designs, implementing plans, and operations guides of network systems.
  • Experience developing deliverable documentation, including engineering studies, technical solutions, installation plans, engineering drawing packages, and as-built drawing packages.
  • Experience in the analysis of WIDS and appropriate logs to determine courses of action and make recommendations.
  • Experience in installing or supporting large-scale wireless networks, including upgrading wireless hardware, infrastructure, and IOS components.
  • Experience in conducting wireless and site surveys for wireless and wired networks to assess and analyze data from Ekahau and AirMagnet software suite and industry best practices to recommend network designs or upgrade proposals.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with RF engineering and systems integration.
  • Experience with test procedures and test reports.
  • Experience with the development of integration design packages.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining full deployments of Aruba Enterprise Network, Guest Management Systems, such as ClearPass, Centralized Management Systems, such as AirWave, and wireless controllers and access points.
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals, such as SSLs, DNS, DHCP, IP subnetting, addressing, and variable length subnet masks.
  • Ability to conduct onsite and predictive wireless surveys using multiple survey kits and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot wireless issues using RF scanning and packet captures.
  • Ability to create and manage captive portal solutions for guest access.
  • Ability to create and manage documentation as required.
  • Certifications in wireless networking, such as CWNA, CWSP, CWAP, CWDP, or CWNE, are preferred.
