In the role of a Senior Solutions Architect, you will leverage your expertise to contribute to various stages of the consulting lifecycle. Your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive business process consulting; identifying challenges, proposing innovative solutions, and implementing them effectively. You will play a pivotal role in the design, configuration, and deployment of integrated solutions. Additionally, you will mentor teams on project methodologies, deliverables, and assist in proposal development, client training, and internal skill enhancement, thereby helping to define the project scope.

Key Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or its international equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Consideration will also be given to candidates with three years of progressive experience in the field in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 11 years of experience in Information Technology is essential.
  • This position may involve travel and/or relocation.
  • U.S. citizens and individuals authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications


• At least 11 years of experience in SAP GTS, with a preference for experience in SAP S4.


• Proven experience in end-to-end SAP GTS implementation and rollout projects.


• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.


• Extensive knowledge of solution architecture, application design, and SAP processes, including the product functions and limitations of SAP-GTS.


• Proficient in solution design, configuration, and WRICEF design, with expertise in GTS Configuration, Export/Import Compliance, SPL/Embargo, License Determination, classification, Customs Export, import processes, and trade documentation.


• Ability to collaborate effectively in an international team environment, interfacing with middleware systems, and possessing knowledge of IDOC and EDI interfaces for customs communications.


• Capable of presenting the selected IS solution and implementation back to the business for final approval.


• Provides expertise in application modules.


• Develops the Business Blueprint (BBP) by detailing process design and mapping to solutions, based on designs from the IS Business Analyst, and contributes to effort estimation.


• Conducts final validation of solutions before user acceptance testing.


• Supports the operational team in incident and problem resolution.


• Demonstrates analytical skills in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.


• Collaborates successfully with customer departments, understanding business processes, and assisting in the creation of technical requirements documents.


• Experienced in implementing EAR Regulations, US Re-Export processes, and Free Trade Zones (FTZs).


• Knowledgeable in US Import & Export processes, including AES filing and broker interfaces.


• Familiar with interactive smart forms, Adobe forms, and LTVDs.


• Designs functionalities based on customer requirements, creating functional documents, and coordinating with customers for approval.


• Facilitates integration and user acceptance tests, reviewing test results with customers.


• Ensures that design, build, and test outcomes align with customer standards and guidelines.


• Engages in business meetings to document requirements and identify gaps, executing high- and low-level designs, providing pseudo-codes, implementing prototypes, and conducting design reviews.


• Manages Senior Client Product Owners in solution design and reporting on global deliverables status and planning.


• Prepares weekly status reports and presents during client program status meetings and daily core review meetings.


• Skilled in creating functional design documents based on business process requirements.


• Contributes to solution architecture based on assessments and understanding of solution alternatives, frameworks, and products.
