Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for performing complex assembly and fitting operations, drilling and riveting, and reading blueprints to determine operations sequence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures
  • Rivet structural members, assemblies, and parts using required tools
  • Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine operations sequence
  • Maintain logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs)
  • Align and assemble parts using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, fasteners
  • Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO)

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years related structural assembly experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Skilled in close tolerance work
  • Knowledge of special tools and equipment
  • Basic shop math skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam
  • Q-stamp certification
