Bausch Health is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Scientist to join our team in Petaluma, CA.

This role will lead the development of pharmaceutical products, providing technical expertise in analytical chemistry, regulatory affairs, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical analysis.

The Primary Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing technical leadership and expertise in analytical chemistry and regulatory affairs
  • Developing and implementing analytical methods and protocols
  • Conducting research and development of new pharmaceutical products
  • Leading cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables
  • Preparing and submitting regulatory filings and reports

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A PhD in chemistry or a related field is preferred, with a strong track record of publications and presentations in the field.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • PhD in chemistry or a related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical analysis
  • Strong technical expertise in analytical chemistry and regulatory affairs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with regulatory affairs, including FDA submissions
