About the Role:
The Mammography Imaging Specialist will perform specialized examinations of the breast to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients. This role involves operating mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to perform advanced breast imaging procedures, such as stereotactic and MRI biopsies, and be proficient in sterile procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammographic examinations to help diagnose and treat breast disease
- Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary
- Perform advanced breast imaging procedures, such as stereotactic and MRI biopsies
- Provide complex technical care to meet patient needs
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- 4 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred
- Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) - ARRT
- BS certified
