As a Logistics Warehouse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the operations of our warehouse and ensuring the seamless coordination of installation schedules. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Engagement: Conducting welcome calls to clients within 48 hours of scheduling.
  • Pre-Installation Coordination: Making pre-installation calls to verify site readiness.
  • Appointment Confirmation: Contacting customers to confirm scheduled appointments.
  • Job Closure Management: Ensuring accurate processing of job closeouts.
  • Documentation Preparation: Compiling all necessary paperwork for jobs and preparing packets/files for installers and related departments.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Following up on jobs and working with various departments to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure timely job closure.
  • Portal Management: Daily updates to the Installation Portal (TIP) and Labor Scheduler (Gantt).
  • Job Tracking: Keeping TIP updated with all job interactions (calls, orders, follow-ups, etc.).
  • Account Management: Closing out National Account Jobs and managing job cancellations.
  • Coordination with National Account Coordinators: Ensuring site readiness and scheduling.
  • Sales Communication: Engaging with Sales representatives for additional information as necessary.
  • Data Team Liaison: Communicating with the Data team for confirmation numbers needed for non-monitored accounts.

Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining the safety and organization of the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safety Practices: Upholding safety protocols in the warehouse, utilizing 100% PPE, and promoting a zero-harm environment.
  • Material Handling: Performing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks such as ordering parts, receiving and dispatching materials, and managing equipment.
  • Order Accuracy: Verifying orders for correctness and staging parts appropriately within the warehouse.
  • Shipping Coordination: Communicating with freight carriers and preparing necessary shipping documentation.
  • General Warehouse Duties: Conducting housekeeping, stocking, and maintenance tasks.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborating with vendors and procurement to track parts status and estimated time of arrival.
  • Inventory Management: Updating the Installation Portal with part statuses and searching for parts availability across branches.
  • Special Projects Participation: Engaging in initiatives such as physical inventories and cycle counts to optimize inventory levels.
  • Supply Chain Oversight: Reviewing supply chain reports and ensuring inventory accuracy through necessary transactions.
