DBT Holdings LLC is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, laying out, installing, and maintaining pipe systems on steam, fluid, or gas systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, P&ID's, schematics, and construction drawings to determine the scope of work, including locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
- Identify and prepare all necessary tools and equipment for tasks.
- Identify safety risks and take necessary precautions to eliminate them.
- Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications.
- Install valves, hangers, supports, and flanges inside piping systems according to plans and applicable specifications.
- Perform pressure tests to ensure the quality of the pipe and piping systems.
- 4+ years of experience as a Pipe Fitter or Pipe Fitter Helper.
- Ability to read prints and demonstrate thorough knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Experience on industrial construction projects.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and work off platforms.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
