We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Peer Specialist to join our team at HealthPort.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to clients with activities of daily living skills, ensuring a safe and clean environment in the residence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with daily living tasks, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress, including schedules, notes, and shift logs.
- Ensure confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws, CARF accreditation standards, and Maryland State Regulations.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years' experience working with mentally ill adults.
- Peer Specialist certification is an asset.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Valid Full driver's license and safe driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of approximately $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a rich benefit package, tuition assistance, 401(k) with employer contribution, and more.
