About the Role

Eaton Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join our team at our Syracuse, NY location. As a key member of our ES GEIS CHD division, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water, steam, oil, air, gas, acid, sanitary waste, wastewater, sprinkler, pressure, and piping systems, pumps, motor sets, heating, and air conditioning equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial piping systems, including water, steam, and gas systems.
  • Utilize industrial plumber and pipefitter skills to troubleshoot and repair complex piping systems, including sprinkler systems and sanitary and storm sewer lines.
  • Install and maintain new and rebuilt air conditioning units, including repair of reciprocating, absorption, and centrifugal units.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair instruments and control systems for heating, cooling, air, water, and wastewater systems.
  • Troubleshoot air makeup system malfunctions and regulate combustion equipment.
Requirements
  • Journeymen or three (3) years of documented plumbing experience.
  • Preferred qualifications: Plumber pipefitter experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Five (5) full-time years' experience or the equivalent to Plumber Journeymen level experience.
  • Piping experience in an industrial setting.
