Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to lead our firmware development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating firmware development activities to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality firmware products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement firmware code for new functionalities and bug fixes.
  • Lead and coordinate firmware development efforts, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and product managers, to align firmware development activities with overall project objectives.
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, and track progress to ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Conduct hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and verification of firmware functionalities, working closely with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve any bugs or issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including firmware specifications, design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to firmware development and product certifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience contributing to embedded systems projects.
  • Strong knowledge of firmware development methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, tracking, and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C/C++/Python) and familiarity with hardware-software interactions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
