Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Matrix Providers. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional anesthesia care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient anesthesia experience, perform preoperative evaluations and preparations, administer monitored anesthesia care, regional and general anesthesia, monitor and manage patient reactions to anesthesia and surgery, manage fluid therapy, perform and manage invasive monitoring, and perform post-operative evaluations as privileged by the Medical Treatment Facility Credentials Committee.
  • Perform a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient, including obtaining informed consent, requesting consultations and diagnostic studies, and ordering pre-anesthetic medications.
  • Develop and implement an anesthetic plan of care, including a review of the medical record, laboratory data, and patient condition.
  • Maintain the patient's physiologic homeostasis and correct abnormal responses to the anesthesia and surgery.
  • Collect and interpret patient physiological data, manage the patient's airway and pulmonary status, and manage the patient's emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
  • Record all pertinent events during the introduction of, maintenance of, and emergence from anesthesia, including the dosage and duration of all anesthetic agents, other drugs, intravenous fluids, and blood or blood components.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Graduate from an academic program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA)
  • Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or American Red Cross Healthcare Provider Course
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Minimum of 36 months experience within the last 48 months practicing as a CRNA
  • Current, complete, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse anesthetist in any U.S. state/territory
