Job Summary

DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES MFG LP is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair, maintain, and rebuild production, shipping, and facility equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance processes with the production department to minimize disruptions to production output and packaging.
  • Respond to calls from production, shipping employees, and management to address equipment issues.
  • Perform established preventative maintenance programs to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Assist with new equipment installation and ensure all equipment meets safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and complete departmental records.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, construction drawings, machine manuals, and electrical blueprints/schematics.
  • Ensure all equipment adheres to applicable safety protocols and maintain good housekeeping standards.
  • Evaluate recipe values and adjust as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support ongoing business needs.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
