A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NUTRITIONAL SERVICES COOK

As a Nutritional Services Cook, your responsibilities will include assisting with daily meal preparation and maintaining cleanliness as directed. You will serve meals, beverages, and special dietary items to residents promptly during meal times, whether in the dining area or in their rooms. After each meal, you will prepare the dining area for the next service and ensure a safe and sanitary environment for our residents.

It is essential to maintain accurate records for each resident you assist and promptly report any changes in their condition to the nursing staff. With a calm demeanor and patience, you will treat residents with the same care and respect you would wish for your own family members. Each day, you will leave feeling fulfilled by the positive difference you make in the lives of those in your community.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A NUTRITIONAL SERVICES COOK

• Prior culinary experience is preferred
