We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Adult Mental Health Professional to join our team at People's Family of Corporations. This exciting opportunity involves providing individual therapy and counseling services to adult clients, focusing on assessing mental health needs, developing treatment plans, and facilitating positive change through a collaborative approach.



The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field, and be licensed or eligible for licensure as a mental health professional. They will also have preferred experience working with adult clients in a clinical setting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice.



Responsibilities

The Licensed Adult Mental Health Professional will be responsible for conducting comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients' emotional and mental health needs, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals. They will also provide ongoing therapy sessions to adult clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and foster a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship to facilitate client growth.



In addition, the Licensed Adult Mental Health Professional will be responsible for monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintaining detailed and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans. They will also adhere to ethical and professional standards, including confidentiality and informed consent.



Collaboration and Crisis Intervention

The Licensed Adult Mental Health Professional will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community agencies when necessary to optimize client care, refer clients to specialized services or additional support as needed, and respond to client crises in a calm and professional manner, utilizing appropriate intervention strategies.



Professional Development

The Licensed Adult Mental Health Professional will continuously update their knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities, staying current with evidence-based practices in the field, and participate in clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.



We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field, and be licensed or eligible for licensure as a mental health professional. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong diagnostic and assessment skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice are essential for success in this role.



Certification or License Required

Licensed or Provisional Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LMSW), Licensed or Provisional Professional Counselor (LPC, PLPC) is required.
