Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager to lead software delivery projects for our clients in the financial services and healthcare industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale software projects on time and on budget, with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle and project management methodologies.

  • 5+ years of experience managing software implementation projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and manage project staff resources
  • Expert knowledge of software delivery and implementation, with experience in multiple methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Ability to travel when needed, with less than 25% expected

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engagement-specific statements of work
  • Prepare and execute project work plans, and revise as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Set and manage client expectations through defined objectives, effective communication, and delivery of results
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Review deliverables prepared by team members before delivery to ensure high levels of quality and consistent messaging
  • Monitor project scope to ensure adherence with baselines and through change control management procedures
  • Produce and distribute weekly and monthly status reports, inclusive of timeline, budget, change, and key issues and risks, including applicable KPIs, metrics, and trending
  • Report, evaluate, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues associated with the engagement in a timely fashion, escalating when necessary
  • Monitor Quality Assurance test planning, test execution, and associated problem resolution
