  • Maintain and clean painting equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Complete each task efficiently while upholding the highest quality standards to avoid rework.
  • Document job details as required by the manufacturer.
  • Monitor and manage paint supply inventory, alerting management when restocking is necessary.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members as needed.
  • Propose improvements for operational efficiency within the department.
  • Ensure a spotter is present when maneuvering vehicles in reverse.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, with potential for overtime and weekend work based on business requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Experience with both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Formal training or certification in auto body work.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Physical Working Conditions:
  • Work with various paints and solvents.
  • Utilize hands and fingers to manipulate tools and controls.
  • Lift, push, or pull weights up to 90 lbs.
  • Operate in a shop environment with elevated noise levels and small ventilated painting booths.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and respirators.
  • Engage in physical activities including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling throughout the shift.
  • Work in diverse climates and be exposed to outdoor elements.
