**Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Overview:**
- 18-bed ICU
- Patient demographics include individuals with chest pain, congestive heart failure, renal issues, diabetic ketoacidosis, digestive disorders, pulmonary conditions, and standard critical care needs.
- Required nursing competencies include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification, CRRT, and comprehensive ICU nursing skills.
**Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Overview:**
- 21-bed IMCU
- Patient demographics include individuals with chest pain, congestive heart failure, renal issues, diabetic ketoacidosis, digestive disorders, pulmonary conditions, and general intermediate care needs.
- Required nursing competencies include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification, and foundational knowledge of intermediate nursing care.
All units cater to a diverse patient population, offering numerous opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement. You will have access to educational programs that provide CEUs.
We encourage our nurses to participate in shared governance councils, unit-based councils, and various committees, ensuring that your voice is always valued.

The staff nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients across their lifespan, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
He/she operates within the framework of organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
The staff nurse is accountable for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
**Qualifications:**Minimum Education Required:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum Experience Required:
New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law:
Current Georgia Registered Nurse License or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification is mandatory.
Additional Qualifications:
For PRN positions:
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Advanced certification in the specialty field, if applicable (refer to addendum).
- Nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
