The role is open for a seasoned Java/J2EE developer to lead the modernization of our payment platform, utilizing Spring Boot and designing microservices.

About the Job

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum. We are looking for an experienced professional who will work closely with the team to build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions using Spring Boot framework.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain products
  • Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
  • Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

We require candidates with at least 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE development, 5-7 years of experience with Spring framework/Spring boot, and strong experience in working with RDBMS like SQL Server & Postgres.

Additional skills required include:

  • Experience in REST API design and specifications, building REST API with a tool like Swagger preferred.
  • CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, Blackduck.
Preferred Skills and Attributes

Candidates possessing expertise in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices in an agile environment are highly desired.

We also seek candidates with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, as well as proven collaboration and influencing skills.
