Job Summary:

Gundersen Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on the Medical-Surgical floor. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physiological, emotional, sociocultural, spiritual, and financial status to develop a comprehensive care plan.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote health and optimize wellness.
  • Provide direct patient care and education based on patient complexity, acuity, and nursing judgment.
  • Document nursing assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and patient/family response.
  • Delegation and supervision of tasks performed by LPNs or UAPs, taking into consideration scope of practice, training, competence, population served, experience, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire.
  • BLS/CPR for healthcare providers.
