Medical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join Tottenville Medical Pavillion Pllc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for examining patients, collecting medical histories, and making diagnoses. Your expertise will also involve reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, explaining test results to patients, and prescribing therapy or medication under the supervision of a physician.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient exams, documenting all medically relevant information in their records.
- Analyze test results, interpret data accurately, and provide diagnostic suggestions based on those findings.
- Communicate complex medical information to patients, ensuring they understand their health outcomes.
- Prescribe medication or therapy with a physician's oversight as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
- Collaborate closely with medical assistants, other Nurse Practitioners, and physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- A valid state license is required for this position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are necessary for making informed decisions.
- Prior experience in an outpatient clinical setting is highly desirable.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
