Electroencephalography Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electroencephalography (EEG) Technician to join our team at Northern Light Mercy Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing EEG, EKG, Holter Monitoring, and Cardiac stress tests on adult and geriatric patients.

• Perform EEG, EKG, Holter Monitoring, and Cardiac stress tests on adult and geriatric patients.
• Work under the general guidance of the Lead Cardiology Technician to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of patient test results.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and load 20 to 30 pounds.
• Ability to work with computers, typing, reading, and writing.

The successful candidate will work in a hospital setting and may be exposed to:

• Abusive and/or aggressive people.
• Diseases or infections.
• Hazardous materials.
• Noisy environments.
• Noxious odors.
• Very hot or cold temperatures.
