Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Truck Production Technician to join our team at Synerfac. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing customer-specific installations on all truck systems, conducting new vehicle inspections, and fabricating new Medium Duty and Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform customer-specific installations on all truck systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Conduct new vehicle inspections to identify any defects or issues, and fabricate new trucks as needed to meet customer requirements.
  • Use precision instruments and shop machines to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, as outlined in our published time standards manual.
  • Read and understand technical publications, including service manuals and service bulletins, to stay up-to-date on the latest industry developments.
  • Determine the usability of all component parts and list and order all necessary parts using our DMS (dealer management system).
  • Write detailed descriptions of all work performed on each individual repair using the DMS.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with OSHA and company rules and regulations.
  • Achieve and maintain certifications as required by the company, OEMs, or federal law.
  • Understand the importance of attendance and punctuality in providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Ability to read and write in English, as well as understand computer-generated reports and invoices.
  • Proficiency in operating various computer diagnostic devices, PCs, and laptops.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds to the waist and 50 pounds to the shoulder.
