We are a full-service, not-for-profit Visiting Nurse Association dedicated to providing high-quality, medically necessary home health and hospice care to all central Vermonters, regardless of their ability to pay. Our mission is to promote the general welfare of our community through health promotion, long-term care, and maternal-and-child health services.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Personal Care Attendant to join our team. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide essential support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live safely in their own homes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide positive social interaction, warmth, and emotional support to clients at home.
  • Assist with essential tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and personal care, in line with the client's Plan of Care.
  • Transport clients to and from doctors' appointments, or arrange telemedicine appointments as needed.
  • Run errands and provide respite care to relieve family caregivers.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
