About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our team at Textron. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems to support the production of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and systems to support the production of aircraft
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing technical issues and improve process efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth transition of products from design to production
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process instructions and technical specifications
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions
Requirements
  • 7 years of experience in aerospace or related manufacturing industry with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or relevant/related disciplines
  • 5 years of experience in aerospace or related manufacturing industry with related Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology or relevant/related discipline plus a Master of Science (MS), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
  • Knowledge and/or expertise in one or more manufacturing technologies, including aero-structure, electrical and mechanical systems, tail, main and prop rotor blade systems, manufacturing execution systems, and gear and transmission drive systems
