Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to dogs and cats, including routine medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, communicating effectively and educating them on preventative health care and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring seamless patient care and follow-up.
  • Stay current with the latest medical information and advancements in veterinary medicine, attending continuing education meetings and workshops.
  • Collaborate with the paraprofessional team to deliver exceptional client service and promote a positive hospital culture.
  • Represent the hospital professionally in the community and to the general public.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas.
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
  • Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.
  • Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients.
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
