About the RoleThe Director of Climate Resiliency will spearhead MyRWA's climate efforts, driving collective action in the Mystic River watershed to create resilient communities and safeguard against the impacts of climate change. This role oversees the management of the 20-community Resilient Mystic Collaborative, fostering strong relationships with municipal staff, community leaders, service providers, and policymakers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute regional climate resilience projects, leveraging strategic partnerships and grant funding.
- Catalyze collective action among municipalities, non-profits, and residents to address flooding, heat, and social equity challenges.
- Foster collaboration between local stakeholders, facilitating knowledge-sharing and capacity-building initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in climate resilience, coalition building, or related fields.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- A commitment to social and climate equity, with the ability to establish trusting relationships across diverse backgrounds.

Benefits and Perks- $110,000 - $130,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience.
