Specimen Processing Group Lead

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specimen Processing Group Lead to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Specimen Technicians and ensuring the smooth operation of our specimen processing department.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of Specimen Technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure the efficient processing of specimens.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with laboratory supervisors to prioritize work assignments and ensure departmental deadlines are met.
- Coach and develop team members to improve performance and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with Quest Diagnostics policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in a specimen processing role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of laboratory operations and specimen processing procedures.
