Job Summary

This is a 13-week assignment with a 40-hour workweek, requiring a 10-hour day shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including catheterizations and angiograms, under the guidance of a qualified physician.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, including radiology, cardiology, and nursing staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting, with a strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare setting.
