This role involves daily monitoring of all operational processes to promptly address any safety concerns or violations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver all OSHA and company-mandated safety training sessions.
- Maintain accurate training documentation and records, including attendance and dates.
- Conduct daily inspections of plant operations to swiftly rectify any safety infractions.
- Organize quarterly safety committee meetings and document meeting minutes.
- Provide suggestions for enhancements to the existing company safety program.
- Analyze accident patterns and implement corrective measures or program modifications to minimize incident rates.
- Investigate and document all accidents, near misses, and safety observations.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Safety Team on all matters related to the company’s safety initiatives.
- Foster a culture of safety within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable for this position.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety compliance role on-site.
- OSHA 30 certification is mandatory.
- OSHA 510 or 511 certifications are preferred.
