Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to patients in a state institution, hospital, or agency. The caseload will vary between skilled therapy and OT maintenance programs, along with documentation and meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a state institution, hospital, or agency.
  • Caseload will vary between skilled therapy and OT maintenance programs, along with documentation and meetings.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans, and use adaptive equipment designed to assist in self-help tasks.
  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments to evaluate functional abilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, assessment techniques, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
