Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontracts Administrator to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a Subcontracts Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's business strategy by providing expertise in subcontract management, contract negotiation, and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage subcontracts and other agreements of intermediate value and risk in accordance with client requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Create subcontract solicitations and support proposal efforts.
- Negotiate price/cost and subcontract or other agreement provisions.
- Compile reports for Subcontracts and/or Project Management.
- Coordinate with other program and functional areas to ensure compliance with company policy, regulation, and performance parameters.
- Participate in and/or manage special projects as required.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, 6+ years of related experience within Subcontracts Management, Contracts Management, Procurement, and/or Proposal Management experience required.
- Experience: 2+ years of related experience within Subcontracts Management, Contracts Management, Procurement, and/or Proposal Management experience required.
- Required Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Preferred Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
- Clearance: No clearance required.
- Location: This is a hybrid position working at a GDIT facility. This role will require working onsite 3 days a week.
