Meat Cutter Job Description

At Yoke's Fresh Markets, we're seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our meat department runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
  • Cut and trim meat to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality products.
  • Operate various equipment, including slicers, saws, and grinders, while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Assist with training new associates and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Participate in inventory management, ordering, and stocking of meat products.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid State Food Handlers Permit and valid Driver's License or State I.D. Card required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
