Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the UNC Children's Specialty Clinic, specializing in GI and Allergy/Immunology. As an LPN in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including basic rooming, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of individualized care plans, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment.
  • Assist with patient education, discharge planning, and other aspects of patient care as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a state-accredited LPN program.
  • Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
