Job Summary:

As a Radiology Technologist at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians. Your expertise will involve positioning and instructing patients, adjusting x-ray equipment, and determining optimal voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic-quality radiographs
  • Position and instruct patients for imaging exams
  • Adjust x-ray equipment and determine optimal settings for each radiograph
  • Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
  • Document exam information and report important findings to physicians
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required)
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) licensure in the state of practice (required in CA and HI)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Fluoroscopy licensure in the state of employment (preferred)
