Architectural Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman to join our team at Delaware Park Casino & Racing. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings of existing structures, as well as designing new floor plans and interpreting existing drawings.

• Design and Drafting: Create accurate and detailed drawings of existing structures, including as-built drawings, using AutoCAD software.
• Design and Development: Design new floor plans and interpret existing drawings to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction codes.
• Communication: Promote outstanding customer relations and communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless project execution.
• Field Work: Conduct field work to collect information for renovation design, including taking accurate measurements of existing structures.
• Code Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction codes, including obtaining necessary permits.

• Experience: Two (2) or more years of experience with architectural drawing using AutoCAD version 2023.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of commercial building construction methods, floor plans, and structural codes.
• Field Work: Field work experience collecting information for renovation design.
• Communication: Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods of time, lift Fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty, and work in extremes of weather, on roofs, ladders, and scaffolding.
