Role Summary:

The CT Imaging Specialist collaborates closely with the Chief Technologist, Imaging Manager, Director, and Medical Staff to enhance patient care and streamline workflow by providing essential support, education, and leadership to the technical team.

This role involves executing CT imaging procedures in accordance with state regulations and departmental protocols, focusing on various medical conditions including neurological disorders, strokes, oncological assessments, and cardiac evaluations.

The specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care within the imaging department, ensuring high-quality imaging and examinations while being attuned to patient needs. Adherence to safe radiation practices is paramount. The CT Imaging Specialist is expected to demonstrate leadership qualities and serve as a role model for fellow technologists, acting as a clinical resource and ensuring compliance with current standards of practice.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's Degree strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • ARRT(CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
