Stanford Hotel Group is seeking a skilled Barista/Café Attendant to provide exceptional customer service and support to our guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the café area and surrounding spaces
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
**Requirements:**
- 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- ServSafe certification
- Food Handler certification
- Alcohol Training certification
