Position Overview
We are in search of a dedicated and meticulous Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our offices and surrounding grounds. This part-time role offers the benefits typically associated with full-time employment, including weekends off, paid holidays, health insurance, vacation, sick leave, and a retirement plan.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will undertake a variety of tasks on a rotating and as-needed basis, including but not limited to:

  • Emptying all wastebaskets and recycling bins.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Cleaning and sanitizing sinks, counters, urinals, toilets, stall walls, paper dispensers, mirrors, and floors; ensuring all supplies are stocked.
  • Floor Care: Sweeping, vacuuming, dust-mopping, damp-mopping, and spot cleaning carpets and walls.
  • Maintaining all outdoor areas, including weeding, litter collection, watering plants, and leaf blowing.
  • Cleaning all accessible surfaces such as desks, shelves, windowsills, and chairs.
  • Ensuring cleanliness in common areas including entry doors, conference rooms, and coffee stations.
  • Meeting quality standards for all assigned tasks.
  • Managing custodial supplies, including unloading and stocking, and laundering cleaning rags.
  • Performing additional related duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a starting wage of $18 - $19 per hour, with a full salary range of $18 - $21 per hour, allowing for growth within the organization. Benefits include:

  • Vacation accrual starting at 3.5 hours per month.

Work Schedule
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility for an earlier start time.
