Project Foreman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Foreman to join our team at Turner Construction. As a Project Foreman, you will be responsible for leading and directing the work of subcontractors, vendors, and/or Turner trade employees. Your primary focus will be on ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed, and adherence to budget of the project.

• Lead and direct the work of subcontractors, vendors, and/or Turner trade employees.
• Ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed, and adherence to budget of the project.
• Supervise and develop trade employees, as assigned, including providing input on or completing performance appraisals.
• Address staff needs and resolve problems. Provide staff feedback, reward, and discipline as required.
• Assist project team with creating schedules and determining sequencing of work. Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule, when requested.
• Communicate with owner's representative and architects/engineers in connections with field issues. Investigate and document the resolution of scope issues.
• Manage the contracted work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the approved contract documents.

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and exposure to supervisory responsibilities.
• Possess the skills necessary to complete rough carpentry work.
• Moderate technical abilities including the utilization of a smart phone/tablet and supported software.
• Proficiency in EH&S applications.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to comprehend safety instructions and signage, communicate effectively in emergency situations and understand written safety instructions from tool and equipment manufacturers.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Valid driver's license.
