Pharmacist - Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist - Oncology Specialist to join our team at Pacific Medical Centers. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy and other infusible medications.

• Medication Preparation and Dispensing: Prepare and dispense chemotherapy and other infusible medications in a sterile environment, adhering to strict quality control and safety protocols.
• Medication Selection and Verification: Verify and assist physicians with medication selection, formula preparations, and dosage calculations to ensure accurate and safe treatment.
• Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate dispensing records and patient records for each patient treated in the infusion unit.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and participate in quality assurance initiatives to improve pharmacy services.

• Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy and current Washington Pharmacist License.
• Experience: 1 year of pharmacy experience, preferably in a sterile preparation environment.
