Aramark is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team at Columbia Memorial Hospital EVS Offsites. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, clients, and colleagues, demonstrating a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Maintain all assigned areas, including corridors and ancillary spaces, in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner, adhering to preventative maintenance procedures and departmental policies.
- Inspect and utilize judgment to determine the most effective cleaning techniques, as outlined in orientation guidelines.
- Demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions, as observed by supervisors.
- Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment, to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Employ universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Keep carts properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring all chemicals are accurately labeled and equipment is in good working condition.
- Promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintaining professional conduct at all times.
- Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department, contributing to the overall success of Aramark.
- Prior cleaning experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
- Ability to respond effectively to changing demands and adapt to new situations.
