Recreation Coordinator

About the Role:

• Create and implement engaging recreational programs that promote physical activity, social interaction, and skill-building among young individuals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups, schools, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and program enhancement.
• Supervise and support staff members to ensure successful delivery of programs and services.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement and expansion.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Youth Development, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth in a recreational or educational setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Recreation, Youth Development, or related field.
• Experience with program development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Knowledge of youth development principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with local community resources and partnerships.
