Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician Apprentice to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician Apprentice, you will assist customers with roadside services, learn preventative maintenance services, and work in a fast-paced environment maintaining clean places with friendly faces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with roadside services and learn preventative maintenance services.
  • Work in a team environment to maintain clean places with friendly faces.
  • Learn and perform electrical diagnostics and repairs, air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs, wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs, air system diagnostics and repairs, air brakes diagnostics and repairs, charging system diagnostics and repairs, and basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement.
  • Assist with parts lookup and acquisition.
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
