- Monitor and record patient health indicators, including vital signs and any changes in condition.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Provide specialized nursing tasks such as wound care and catheter management as necessary.
- Health Monitoring:
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient documentation, including medication logs and treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to health regulations and safety standards.
- Accurately document medication administration and report any discrepancies.
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the need for additional medications and communicate findings to supervisors.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of all patient information.
- Team Collaboration:

- Health Advocacy:
- Promote the health and wellness of individuals with IDD.
- Encourage patients to pursue their personal health objectives.
- Advocate for healthy lifestyle choices and preventive health measures.
- Training and Development:
- Provide education and support to direct support professionals on healthcare practices.
- Assist in creating health education initiatives for individuals and their families.
- Support the execution of personalized care plans and interventions.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any incidents or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Ensure proper storage and monitoring of medical supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in medication storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervision:
- Oversee shifts and may provide guidance to other staff members.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
