Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM - 12 hour rotating shifts - 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off
Summary:
- The Laboratory Specialist is a scientific position responsible for executing various tasks related to the creation of sterile biological pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols, regulations, and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards among all team members.
- Maintain quality systems and ensure cGMP compliance by making certain that all team members follow established processes, procedures, and instructions.
- Perform tasks according to documented protocols and identify deviations from accepted practices.
- Conduct a majority of work within a cleanroom environment.
- While in the cleanroom, proper attire including scrubs, hairnet, shoe covers, hood, gown, mask, boots, and two pairs of gloves is mandatory.
- Demonstrate the ability to inspire others, fostering a positive work environment that encourages inter-departmental collaboration, coaching, and continuous performance feedback.
- Effectively assign objectives, set clear expectations, and monitor progress while managing resources and competing priorities.
- Proficient in providing clear guidance, leading teams, and maximizing individual potential.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences is preferred.
- Basic laboratory experience with a Bachelor's degree or intermediate laboratory experience in a cGMP clinical production setting with a High School Diploma.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of laboratory experience is required.
