Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled counselor to assist patients through medically assisted treatments and provide techniques for handling opioid addiction. The ideal candidate will conduct individual and group sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies, evaluate patient progress, and collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other counselors to achieve overall outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling services, direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals, and coordinate all services throughout treatment.
  • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
  • Conduct individual initial assessment and evaluation interviews for service eligibility determination.
  • Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment.
  • Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints.
  • Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans.
  • Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Must have current LSAA, LADAC, LMHC, LMSW, LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
