Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness that provides grain, food, and energy resources to businesses and consumers worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our agronomy team in Lowder, IL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong on-farm relationships with top agriculture brands to deliver and apply custom fertility and crop protection solutions across the state of IL.
  • Receive onsite training and run facility operations, maintaining spray equipment and blending chemicals.
  • Assist in obtaining necessary licenses and certifications, including CDL and applicator licenses.
  • Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner, preparing trucks and railcars for loading/unloading and controlling load out functions.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks, including lubrication of pumps, valves, and loading arms.
  • Inspect in-use equipment, monitor and maintain quality of inventory, and deliver products to customer sites.
  • Keep all work areas clean, orderly, and safe, and report any customer complaints, repair or maintenance needs, or safety concerns to supervisor.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations.
  • Agriculture experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Willingness or ability to obtain CDL and endorsements.
