Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

Job Requirements:
  • 1 year of recent acute care experience
  • ARRT (R) National Certification and state-specific licensing when required
  • Vascular Interventional certificate preferred

As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for preparing and observing patients undergoing procedures and reporting abnormal activity. You will also be responsible for confirming patient identification, reviewing imaging requests, and explaining procedures to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patients during all procedures
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques
  • Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy
  • Maintain accurate patient records
