As a Bakery Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our bakery section, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers, team members, and management to maintain store cleanliness, address customer concerns, and uphold service standards.
  • Manage store opening and closing procedures in alignment with company standards, supervising team members to ensure operational priorities are met.
  • Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and accurate timekeeping.
  • Participate in the hiring process for team members within the bakery department.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including waste disposal and inventory stocking, to maintain store standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and conduct regular inspections of the store environment.
  • Complete daily financial documentation, including cash handling and deposits, in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic operational reports as directed by management.
  • Engage in personal development through ongoing training opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities

May undertake other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience: Previous experience in grocery, restaurant, or retail environments is preferred.

Knowledge: Familiarity with grocery industry practices and basic computer skills, including email and word processing.

Language Skills: Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Mathematical Skills: Competence in basic math and financial documentation.

Other Requirements: Reliable transportation and proof of insurance are necessary for candidates required to drive for work purposes. Punctuality is essential.

Additional Skills: Ability to maintain composure and patience in a team-oriented environment, manage multiple tasks effectively, and provide leadership.
