Job Description Overview

Novant Health seeks a skilled Lead Respiratory Therapist to oversee the daily operations of the Respiratory/Cardiopulmonary Department. The successful candidate will provide exceptional respiratory care services to patients of all age groups, adhering to current policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate respiratory care services, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Administer respiratory care services, including ventilator management and intubations, as needed.
  • Develop and implement respiratory care protocols, promoting best practices and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork and staff engagement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field, required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an RRT in an acute care setting, required.
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care and current RCP licensure, required.
